Booking Process
We strive to make your booking experience seamless and transparent. To secure your date, we require a signed contract and a 50% non-refundable retainer. The remaining balance is due on the day of your event. Please note that images will be released after final payment is received.
Once you've booked with us, our focus is entirely on you. Weddings are my passion (and my full-time career after being a mom!). With over 15 years in the wedding industry, I'm happy to share my expertise and insights to help make your day truly special. My goal is to provide you with photographs you absolutely love and ensure your wedding day flows smoothly.
The Day Of
We prioritize arriving early to every event. This buffer allows us to navigate any unforeseen delays and gives us time to settle in and prepare. Just like athletes or actors, we find it beneficial to "warm up" – getting our equipment ready, familiarizing ourselves with the venue, and checking conditions.
From there, we'll be by your side throughout the day, offering guidance when needed. However, we believe in capturing the genuine moments of your celebration, allowing the day to unfold naturally rather than orchestrating events for the camera.
Portraits
Portraits are an important part of your wedding photos, but I understand that some couples can feel a little apprehensive about them, and that's perfectly normal. My style leans towards photojournalistic and editorial photography, so I appreciate that you want to enjoy your day without unnecessary stress.
Leading up to your wedding, I'm happy to collaborate with you on a timeline and plan that ensures we capture beautiful portraits efficiently and without taking up too much of your precious time. We'll work together to make the portrait session a relaxed and enjoyable part of your day.
